| Over the past 35+ years, the students
and parents of The Reading & Math Center have seen many
wonders in performance. That is because we break down the barriers
of math by concentrated instruction and remedial learning. Every
student receives individual attention and instruction in problem
areas while being encouraged every step of the way to master
every concept before moving on.
As a student graduates to higher institutions of learning,
it is imperative that the skills they have learned over the
years are focused and refined until it becomes second nature.
The Reading & Math Center can help them along the way.

As with our regular pre-enrollment testing programs,
each student is given a full battery of diagnostic exams to
test their understandings of the concepts required to complete
advanced math that they will run into at the middle school,
high school, and college levels.
Basic Skills Assessment:
Each student is tested in addition, subtraction, multiplication,
and division.
Moderate Skills Assessment:
Students are drilled on their abilities to complete multi-digit
computations with advanced multiplication, division, fractions,
and decimals.
Advanced Skills Assessment:
Our more advanced students require more assistance in day-to-day
problems in school. Our advanced assessment involves the higher
mathematics taught in advanced middle school, high school,
and college courses (i.e. Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry,
and Calculus).
